The Future We Want

In November 2025, the Nobel Prize Dialogue will come to India for a special double event in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The dialogue brings Nobel Prize laureates together with leading thinkers to explore ideas and challenges that matter to all of us. With the theme ‘The Future We Want’, the India dialogues will reflect on how investment in knowledge, creativity and our young people can build a world of joy, wonder and innovation that is more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable. These conversations will be grounded in India’s rich intellectual tradition and will showcase its emergence as a leading player on the global stage.

Speakers include Nobel Prize laureates David MacMillan (chemistry 2021) and James Robinson (economic sciences 2024). Adding to their expertise are Montek Singh Ahluwalia, economist and former Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India; Gagandeep Kang, microbiologist; Tolullah Oni, scientist and epidemiologist; Kush Parmar, biotech entrepreneur and Managing Partner, 5AM Ventures; Siddharth Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of the Tata Trusts, and Hanna Stjärne, Executive Director of the Nobel Foundation. Each dialogue will explore pathways to a future shaped by shared values and informed by evidence. Hosted by Nobel Prize Outreach in partnership with the Tata Trusts, Nobel Prize Dialogue India 2025 aims to foster open exchange of ideas, inspire the next generation, and deepen the connection between science and society.
