The Nobel Prize Dialogue is an open, cross-disciplinary forum that brings together Nobel Prize Laureates, world-leading scientists, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss global issues that affect us all. The event is open to a worldwide audience online.
In 2025, the Dialogue comes to India in exclusive partnership with Tata Trusts. Centred on the theme “The Future We Want,” the India editions in Bengaluru and Mumbai will explore how investment in knowledge, creativity, and our young people can build a world of joy, wonder, and innovation that is more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable. These conversations will be grounded in India’s rich intellectual tradition and will showcase its emergence as a leading player on the global stage.
The Nobel Prize Dialogue India will be taking place on 3 November 2025 in the J N Tata Auditorium at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and on 5 November 2025 in Mumbai (by invitation only).
The events will feature Nobel Prize laureates David MacMillan, chemistry 2021 and James Robinson, economic sciences 2024, joined by voices from science, business and policymaking.

Yes, all sessions will be live streamed worldwide on 3 November 2025 from 10:30 am IST on the official YouTube channels of the Nobel Prize and the Tata Trusts , allowing anyone to join the Dialogue virtually.

The Dialogue is designed for on-stage interactions, with audience engagement taking place through moderated sessions. Personal meetings or one-on-one interactions with the laureates are not part of the event proceedings.

Yes, entry will only be allowed for participants with a valid QR code, that is sent in a confirmation email after registration. Please carry it (digital or printed) for verification.
Yes, all participants must carry a valid photo ID (such as a student ID or government-issued ID) for entry verification.
Yes, there will be a selfie booth at the venue for participants to capture their Nobel Prize Dialogue experience.
Photography for personal use is allowed in designated areas. However, flash photography or video recording during sessions will not be permitted.
No, presentations are by invitation only and limited to selected speakers and panellists.
Yes, the Nobel Prize Dialogue India 2025 will be conducted in English.
